Park View Field House Recognized with Historic Preservation Review Board Chair's Award for Excellence in Historic Preservation

Inaugural Evelyn Greenberg Preservation Awards

In June 2016, the Jewish Historical Society of Greater Washington presented Kent with their Evelyn Greenberg Historic Preservation Award for successfully adding the old Hebrew Home building on Spring Road to the National Register of Historic Places. Efforts are currently underway to revitalize the building to increase affordable and senior housing in the community.

While many residents want street trees and support increasing Washington, D.C.'s tree canopy, not every street has tree boxes.
